Low-noise optical terminal
Application block diagram

The low-noise optical terminal integrates a low-noise amplifier (LNA) with a microwave optical transmitter, enabling long‑distance fiber‑optic transmission of RF signals with minimal signal degradation. Ideal for antenna remoting and sensitive receiver front‑ends.

Functional Requirements (All OTA Models)

  • Built‑in 60dB low‑noise amplification
  • Fiber‑optic transmission of RF signals (L/S/C/X/Ku bands)
  • Adaptive transmission distance adjustment
  • Power loss preservation & power‑on recovery
  • Optical signal alarm / normal indicator
  • Input power detection & saturation alarm
  • Remote gain control (0‑10dB, 1dB step at receiver)
  • Hot‑swappable module support (optional chassis)
